It's that time of the year again, when all of the wrestling fans of Board 8 come together, whether they watch Japanese wrestling exclusively or only mainline WWE, to vote on their superlatives of the year. The rules are simple and remain virtually unchanged from previous years. You may vote for up to three things in a category, and the order in which you list them will be weighted from three points to one point. Please PM your votes to me on either GameFAQs or Discord; you have until the stroke of midnight of the New Year, 2019!

There are several categories, so let's take a quick look at what's up for discussion this year:

Wrestler of the Year: Who is the total package? Who dazzled you with their in-ring prowess and blew the doors off of every bingo hall in town? Last year's winner was Kazuchika Okada.

Match of the Year: Which bout will forever remain in your heart as the greatest of 2018? Last year's Wrestle Kingdom match featuring Kazuchika Okada against Kenny Omega landed this prize.

Event of the Year: Which pay-per-view or live show was the single most impressive of 2018? Which card ran down like a Greatest Hits album? Last year's Wrestle Kingdom took this prize in 2017.

Feud of the Year: These two (or three or four or five or six) performers took it to the next level in 2018 with great promos, great matches and consistently excellent work every time they tussled. Last year, Okada vs. Omega also took this prize.

Angle of the Year: What single moment of storytelling in 2018 was unforgettable for you? Which moment will live on thanks to its iconic narrative? Last year, the Festival of Friendship snagged this one.

Promotion of the Year: The top prize for the corporations of the world, New Japan snagged this one last year (are you sensing a theme in 2017)?

Show of the Year: Which regularly aired program proved to be the top dog in the world of scheduled programming? Last year, a shocking out-of-nowhere win by Tiger Mask W stole the show (award).

Woman of the Year: Which female wrestling talent dazzled the most in 2018? In a world of revolutions, last year's winner was the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka.

Tag Team of the Year: Which combination of talent proved the best at slapping each other in order to change position in the ring? Last year's winner was the Uso Penitentiary itself, Jimmy and Jey Uso.

Best Personality: Purely from a character standpoint, which character dazzled the most when a camera was rolling? Last year, Hiromu Takahashi's run with the unforgettable Daryl snagged this win.

Most Improved: Which worker went from zero to hero this year? Last year's winner was Braun Strowman.

Best New Character: Which character or gimmick that debuted in 2018 impressed you the most? Last year's winner was Hiromu Takahashi once again.

Best Theme Song: Who has the best entrance music in 2018? Last year's winner was AJ Styles' fondly-regarded theme, "Phenomenal".

Worst Angle: A new award last year, Worst Angle is the gut-wrenchingly stupidest thing you saw on wrestling television. Last year, this dubious distinction went to the House of Horrors match.

Worst Wrestler: Who was the biggest stinker in the ring of 2018? Last year, this dishonorable mention went to Jinder Mahal.

Most Embarassing Wrestling Fiasco: In or out of the ring, what event made you ashamed to love the squared circle? Last year's winner was "Everything TNA".

Least Improved: Which worker plateaued or even plummeted in quality the most in 2018? Last year's winner was Roman Reigns.
