They let themselves down in terms of delivering on the premise. It also has fewer good episodes overall. I'd agree that it's not as good as SG-1 overall, but it was still enjoyable. They didn't deserve to get a rushed/cancelled ending like they did, though. Atlantis was ok overall. It gets bonus points for introducing us to Jason Momoa's beastly badassery. And McKay was pretty amusing. Whatever the third show was, was actual trash tho imo. Universe, was it? Universe started off pretty shitty, with everyone having meltdowns against each other like it's a soap opera in space (kinda like the Battlestar Galactica series, but even worse). Still, I forced my way through it, because I enjoyed Robert Carlyle's character (Dr Rush, the lead scientist).
