From a managerial stand point t it sucks because chances are you end wasting fries that had been there already and still good just because they wanted it as freshly cooked as possible. When I worked at BK that sucked for the regular staff too as the head manager made out like we didn't get raises because food waste was too high. And it was shit like that we couldn't help. Not the costumers fault but that doesn't mean it wasn't annoying --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Bartz-"with cheese biscuts AND mashed potatoes!" ...
