Why would you want the right to something you don't need?
You're only allowed a rifle so you can shoot the government if it turns on the people, so really only battle-appropriate weapons should be legal.

Nobody needs something like a bump stock. Also a criminal would just illegally buy an assault weapon instead of just modifying a gun with a bump stock.

Seriously though, it's a lot easier to file and add parts in the reciever for automatic fire than buy a machine gun, though perhaps not as easy as a stock you can burn after a shooting.
So the military should stop giving soldiers knives and pistols? Also doesn't matter anyway. Nobody needs a bump stock legally. ---
