Level Up to 6 mana

I'm genuinely really happy about the Odd Paladin nerf.

Like...yes, I know the deck has counters (including apparently Shudderwock Shaman) but it fucked experimental decks so very hard. Like...nearly every Whizbang deck has a bad matchup against it (when Whizbang decks usually do OK against aggro decks, since most of them are midrange with some anti-aggro tools).

I managed to make a hunter deck with a good winrate against Odd Paladin, but I had to dedicate like...eight cards in my deck primarily to be anti-aggro. It's not enough to clear their board twice, you need to be thinking about clearing their board again on turn 11, cause they might attack with Vinecleaver, hero power, and level up.

I think it'll still be a good deck, but it won't be such a threat on turn 11 anymore. It will still be able to kill on turn 6, but maybe it will be like a normal aggro deck now where if you live till turn 8 and play a primordial drake you've won.

Chain Gang summons copies of Chain Gang

I don't mind the chain gang nerf, and I'll probably be messing around with Shudderwock in decks cause I still think it has potential. But man, I want a dust refund on the Grumble I crafted now, cause I think that card will actively be a bad inclusion in new Shudderwock decks.

I won't be disenchanting my Chain Gangs (well, my excess copies I guess) cause hey, still good in like...most of the Even decks, still good in Zoo. Possibly still good in a no-grumble shudderwock (summoning taunts from giggling inventor was good in no-grumble shudderwock decks before).

It might be time for another instance of Evolve Shaman, now with the introduction of Former Champ (good evolve target, and a way to get Shudderwock to summon 5/5s).

Leeching Poison

Yeah, this is exactly the card I wanted them to target from Kingsbane. Like...I had joked on reddit that this card should cost 6 mana, cause it normally heals as much or more than Reno Jackson. And I've mentioned before that I don't mind playing against the Kingsbane decks that cut Leeching Poison and focus on aggro (they might kill me sometimes, but at least games fucking end).

I think pirate rogue running Raiding Party will still probably run Kingsbane as its weapon of choice (LOL serrated tooth), but it's going to be mostly a pirate deck now with like...not that many weapon buffs (probably deadly poison and one or two pirates).

Wild Growth and Nourish +1 mana

Nourish kind of deserved it based on current statistics, but I feel a little weird about this nerf too, because the rotation of UI is so soon, and as soon as UI rotates, Nourish goes back to being primarily being used for "draw 3 cards", which is a perfectly fair 5 mana spell no different from Sprint or Arcane Intellect.

Wild Growth...oof. They could have made this "gain a mana crystal" instead of "gain an empty mana crystal", but I guess they like to keep nerfs as simple as possible so as to not confuse players. This card looks worse than Greedy Sprite now, a card that's played in 0.2% of decks (mostly spiteful druid). The only upside of new Wild Growth over Greedy Sprite is that you are guaranteed the mana next turn, whereas sprite, maybe they don't kill it. But...well...please name the 5 mana card that you are ramping into from 3 mana. I'll wait. Remember Nourish costs 6 now. So...I think most current Druid decks don't need to get to 5 mana right away, and would rather get the body from Sprite.

Also, I guess every singe wild Druid deck for the rest of time will be running Jade Blossom now.
