There is zero reason to manufacture any of those goods. The entire industry is a waste of resources. You can maintain fitness without any of it. And you can get to work without a car. I didn't ask if the automotive industry is wasteful. I asked if the industry is itself a waste, as you described the exercise equipment industry. Try again. Yes, it's a waste because all those resources used to make all those unused cars, is wasted, therefore it's a waste industry. You tried again and you made exactly the same mistake. So you're basically saying that you think it's ok to make things no one will use? Thats literally everything. Theres food in stores that no one will eat and will go bad, too. So, should we stop selling food since some of it will be wasted?
