I actually agree with this. Though, I guess a good number of people dont have access to free gyms...

Yeah, that opinion's dumb. There are plenty of fitness options that don't require specific equipment, but gym equipment is often a more effective and sometimes more enjoyable option, and owning that equipment yourself can be pricey and take up more space than people have. Gyms have plenty of reason to exist, and as long as they aren't getting their rent, equipment repairs, and trainer services for free, there's going to be a need to charge for that existence.
There is zero reason to manufacture any of those goods. The entire industry is a waste of resources. You can maintain fitness without any of it. ---
