Right leaning libertarians are just conservatives in sheep's clothing. Libertarianism is supposed to be about freedom from the government both socially and fiscally. The opposite of it is supposed to be authoritarianism which has been a central theme of conservative politics. I'm a left leaning libertarian so I understand why you'd think that. Anyway, TC was just memeing the fact that right leaning libertarians are "republicans who want to smoke weed".
