Prosecutors actually cannot legally pursue a verdict they know to be false, so the truth matters but so does fair treatment of perpetrators. Yeah, I was only talking about the defendant's attorney. Of course truth and justice is important, but without rights and due process to protect citizen's rights, truth and justice melt away really, really fucking fast.
