The way the synth climbs up and down the major scale isn't pleasing to my ears. It doesn't elicit any amount of excitement or entertainment for me. Her voice is soft and powerful, mystifying almost and I understand why she made it as big as she did. Given this is the main attraction it makes sense this song is a hit and evidence that Madonna is a great artist.
