The most dominant contest entrant is unquestionably 1998 last year. That is undeniable.
I'd say this is the best run given so much of it was off just straight up GameFAQs power. Undertale was uninteresting after ME3 went down (I wonder if it'll win the afternoon vote again???? Wow! It did!!!), Draven was just an angry and unfun time all around, and Cloud had only one match where he really punched above his weight, so it wasn't really a "run". L-Block 2007 was the one other you can really make a case for, since it's just so wild and funny and lots of those matches were huge surprises, particularly L > Snake > Sonic.
