Of course I've told in the sequel, The After Years, they're both cured of the petrification I don't understand how everyone misses the twins for the rest of the game. It's obvious they're cured shortly after you acquire the lunar whale. Seeing as how they're on one of the airships that comes along to help you get into the giant of babil. Plus in the prayer room with the elder right before the final boss. And they're even present in the game's ending. [Edit] You can even take them back to the moon with you in the gba/psp versions of the game. --- I used to think my brain was my favorite part of my body...Then I realized what was making me think that! ...
