We never went to church except for weddings and funerals, but I was raised to believe there was a god, just that church wasn't a necessity to interact with god. I was also never baptized. I believed the above for almost my entire childhood and teen years, then for various reasons became agnostic somewhere around my early 20s, then for various reason became an atheist, or really started to become an atheist, around my mid 20s.
