I mean, if you look at how people and governments used to be compared to now not really

Im talking like early civilizations compared to now, back when the governments could do whatever because there was no bill of rights or magna carta, sure some governments are still like they were over a thousand years ago but people and governments for the most part are way more civilized and educated than they were

At worst some haven't progressed at all while everyone else did

The main thing it's worse in today people are constantly outraged or offended by things that really don't matter. I'm sure idiots like this always existed but thanks to social media they have a much larger voice than they used to and it's managed to suck in weaker minded people into being the same way.

I'm sure I could mention other points but I realize they are mostly opinions that will differ from person to person. Like while it was a rougher life some people may have enjoyed the wild west more due to having more freedom. That's just off the top of my head and not my personal opinion as I'd rather be here today than there.
