If it werent for them I literally would only have eaten one meal a day as a kid
I understand they suck now days to the point kids are just tossing them in the trash without eating them.
I actually liked school lunches when I went to school though.
I havent heard that. At least, not at the local school in this area. Or the ones back home. But even the meals that arent good can help the kids that dont get meals at home and such...

And true what you are saying but if these kids I'm talking about are just tossing them I doubt they are starving. Not trying to say I feel they should get rid of them though. Just maybe they could find something that's both healthy and tastes good?
The health thing always killed me though. If a kid is fat trust me it wasn't school lunch that did it.
It could be kids that eat at home throwing them out, too. You can still buy lunches even if you eat at home. And could just snack before throwing the rest away. Though, I never saw them as tasting horrible. Most of it wasnt near the best of anything. But I could still eat it without gagging or anything. Haha. And I agree that if a kid is kind fat, it most likely isnt the school food. They could get better tasting products... But its hard to please anyone. And no matter what, even if we got that, someone would try to make it better for a campaign, and probably make it worse...
No ive heard people say it's bad. I have a step sister still in highschool and a neice in elementary.
And I did say I doubt the kids tossing lunches I doubt are starving.
IDK though maybe this gen (or at least the ones I've heard from) are more whiny/picky than I was. But I have heard the lunches are different because they want it to be healthy. Like only whole wheat bread. I know of only one brand of whole wheat bread I like but I know the schools ain't shelling out the money for that brand. (Stuff is amazing though I actually like it more than white bread)
Maybe. Idk. I only hear about it from co-workers and family/close friends these days. Since I dont go anymore. Ive never heard it was that bad. My sisters still in high school. And I have little cousins and kids of friends in. But it also could be the area or just use to it. Or maybe they are picky. Though, I know I wouldnt eat the wheat bread, either. So, maybe they just changed a lot of the food to be healthy. Maybe the ones who dont complain know how to get enough of what they like. When I was in school, we had the normal lunch line. But also the la cart line, as well. Which had fries, soft pretzels, and stuff. But more expensive. So, maybe we had more kids going there, too. The regular stuff wasnt bad back then. And cheaper. I would go to the other line to get more food some days. But back then, I guess the food was better since they werent on this weird health kick... ---
