| CW_McGraw 12/09/18 5:33:33 AM #8: | Schindler's List is a well made movie, but if any subject demands to be treated in the grimmest, most brutal terms possible, it is the Holocaust. Spielberg makes a movie that, by the end, attempts to find the goodness and purpose in the most senselessly evil thing humans have ever done to one another. Schindler's List, though it makes me cry and feel things in ways that most movies cannot, is ultimately a bad Holocaust movie. If you wanna watch a movie that captures the spirit of the Holocaust, watch The Grey Zone. It's the best Hollywood will ever do on the subject. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
