His dad was....uhh, weird. I just remembered one time I slept over, and the next day his dad comes down stairs.

I can't remember what was said exactly, but his dad explains he was going out to the store, and his room better be clean when he gets back or else he would kill him, or something like it. I can't recall the exact phrase but it was either death or something outlandish for this scenario.

I remember helping him clean the room while he worried. Not so much because of the threat, his dad I hope wasn't crazy(though he was i feel like), but just because punishment around his house was severe.

I remember thinking "holy shit...don't they realize i'm over here?"
