My problem is that I never take any days off, because every time I do, I'm giving up $1200/day by not moonlighting. I inevitably ask if I'd pay $1200 to have a day off, then I force myself to work extra.

You make like $35,000 a month ?

I've only made that much in a month one time, but it required 3 straight weeks of work with no breaks and it was agonizing.

If you want to make that kind of cash, you're better off in surgery or Cardiology.

So what do you do for a living?

Hospitalist

oh here we go again with coffee acting all high and mighty. no1 gives a fuck how much you work or how much you make. just because thats how your fucking job does things doesnt make you superior or right. it just reinforced the idea that things need to change. i wouldnt want a doctor whos worked 80 fucking hours and is exhausted beyond all repair making life changing decisions for me about my health
