Entity13 posted... My one gripe with DQ11 is that it's so trope heavy that you can easily predict what will happen in the next few story events. Sure, a lot of games may follow tropes strongly, or I might be a writer that identifies the narrative from some distance away more often than not, but DQ11 just goes all of the way on that effect. That, for me, is a big part of its charm. There is nothing "edgy" or pretentious about DQXI. It's just an open invitation to sit down and have a good ol' time playing an old-fashioned JRPG.
