Life is meant to be enjoyed, not spent at work. Work to live not live to work. How many people can say the spent a year and a half backpacking around a continent? Working 70+ hour weeks made that possible for me. Working those kind of hours made it possible for me to enjoy life more. I wouldn't be interested in doing it anymore now that I have a child and I have a decent paying job where I work 40 hours/week (well, I teach about 15 hours, the rest is just sitting in the office playing on my phone). However, if I was still single and without a family I would definitely go back to working the 70+ hour weeks just so I could do even more travelling. Work 70-80 hours/week for 4 months so I can have 8 months off to travel and do whatever the hell I pleased is worth it no matter what way you look at it. --- How can one person post so much stupid s***? ...
