geno The claim geno's claim is worrying on all sorts of levels. The particular way his role is structured, Newcomer Veteran, only works with Ridley (arguably Daisy/Chrom/Dark Samus, but the point still stands), even though flavor is randomized. Additionally, there's no flavor cop, so there's no reason for a Town-aligned Miller to have Ridley, a newcomer, as its flavor. Finally, the Drunk stuff is just weird. "You're Newcomer Veteran with a newcomer flavor and are aligned with Town, but you scan Town and don't know what your actual role is until Night 2, when we reveal you actually scan scum from here on out." Like, that's just convoluted. The play Honestly, I haven't played with geno recently enough to be good enough to tell between his Town and scum play. All I know is that he sometimes makes really stupid mistakes as both alignments, so unless he says something literally damning him as scum, that's not gonna be a tell.
Sultan The claim The best play for Miller is usually to claim in the first post of the game. Instead, Sultan waits until Day 4, after everyone else in the game except for Terra has claimed and a wild card Cop has been known since Day 2. If he's scum, a Miller claim is lazy, and if he's Town, waiting this long is stupid. The play There are two main things I've noticed from Sultan's play this game. First, he's aggressive. He's not afraid to attack people he disagrees with, even getting into a fight with Chris (Chris!) on Day 1. Second, he sticks to his arguments. Rather than expand upon them or respond to people who try to counter them, he just repeats the same things over and over until they stick. I'm not familiar with Sultan's play, but I know he's new, so I'd like someone with more experience with him to tell me if that's bad or scummy.
Overall, while I've liked Sultan's play a lot less, geno's claim is too much for me to overlook. Just... why would that role exist, especially in a game with randomized flavors? I think he just slipped when he said Town wasn't Veterans, and has poorly tried to patch together his role since then. ##Vote: geno
