If I was straight, then I would care. I could tell them about who Im seeing and everything would be fine. Being gay changes how people see that. When it comes to friends and things like that, I dont care what people think. I do whatever. Even with being gay. My friends all know. I suppose with some folks parents, friends and family there is still a taboo about being any other sexuality than heterosexual but that problem is declining significantly. Still as I said I wouldn't feel the need to disclose my sexuality to my dad regardless but I also wouldn't care if he caught me checking someone out. LinkPizza posted... I am aware though that some folk think announcing their sexuality in 2018 is something everyone must know and they make a big spectacle about it when the reality is most folk don't care. I'm also aware some folk are very closed minded still so it can be a issue there, even more so with family members.
