The thing is that it's not about how you personally perceive watermelon/chicken. It's a symbol. On the surface, watermelons/chicken are just food; but if you read between the lines, you can tell that the person who made that tree is basically hanging up the kinds of snacks/drinks/cigarettes you are liable to see in a neighborhood that suffers from high crime.

So then youre saying its insulting to criminals, not any particular race, right...? Or are you trying to insinuate that one or more particular races are criminals...?
