The reason for this is the characters for these matches will not be decided until just before the battles start. When making a conditional prediction, you just need to make it clear what you are trying to do. You don't need to follow this format exactly. If Crono wins Battle 143: Cloud - 57.00% If Pikachu wins Battle 143: Cloud - 55.00% If Snake wins Battle 144: Zelda - 51.00% If Samus wins Battle 144: Samus - 54.00% If you don't put a condition on your prediction, it will be used regardless of which character wins the previous match. --- This was not the best year for my bracket.
