Like I appreciate the atmosphere Scott was trying to set up, but the film was such a slow burn that it just doesn't entertain on the level the sequel does. Also an intelligent antagonist is so much cooler than one that runs on pure survival instinct. You think Xenomorph Queen would get herself stuck in the piping of the escape pod's walls?
