Yeah actually even though TFA was extremely derivative it was still a well made and entertaining film. I at least looked forward to what they would do with it in the sequels. Now honestly I only want to see episode 9 to see how Abrams tries to pull the trilogy out of the pit it dug itself into. I have no emotional investment in it.

While I did enjoy 7 and 8 as a whole and want to see 9... I'm hoping not to but fully expecting to see them face an EVEM BIGGAR superweapon for the grand finale.

That's one area where the prequels were better. There was plot recycling, but at least Lucas knew better than to make more than 2 Death Stars.
It might be realistic for them to keep building bigger and deadlier weapons, but it's not interesting.
