| Mr Lasastryke 12/03/18 9:14:36 AM #81: | interesting thing loliamanalt brought up about pet sounds, relating to it being a big influential thing: i suppose it's the first concept album ever created. frank zappa is my favorite artist ever but i'm not sure why freak out! is often credited for inventing the concept album when it was released a month after pet sounds. perhaps because it more clearly has a concept/story than pet sounds does? whatever the case may be, it's undeniable that the beatles' sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band is NOT the first concept album (even though people often claim it is). --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
