Inevitable and unsurprising. Has nothing to do with their business model either. Gamers just dont have to leave the house to buy games anymore. The gaming retail industry isnt the only one suffering from this. And honestly retail sucks anyway. Probably best to see it go away at this point


here's the thing though if nobody ever has to leave the house for anything...what motivation is there to get out of bed?


To drive to the post office to pack up and return stuff you bought online that it turns out you can't use for reasons you had no way of knowing about before buying due to being unable to physically examine it first.

You can pack up stuff at home, and I'm pretty sure you can arrange to have a postal worker come and pick up your packages, although I've never tried it myself.

Amazon will literally mail you a box to pack stuff up so you can return it...
