Big Dick Dudley (D-) William Alfonso and Shane Douglas are here to assert their dominance of the newer, cleaner ECW! Sandman is displeased with this direction, and is about to express his opinions through a cane when Alfonso tells him to save it for the main event, where Sandman and a partner of his choice will face Douglas and another darling of the Network! There's little pause before Dreamer comes out and volunteers to be Sandman's partner after Sandman helped him with the Flock (I am giving up on remembering that's not their ECW name >_>) last week. (D+) Sabu goes over Damien Stone (perhaps better known as Nunzio or Little Guido?) in a perfectly acceptable but unremarkable match. (C-) Heyman says the Network can suck on a BIKINI CONTEST, and brings out Francine, Kimona, Hyatt, and Beulah. Francine wins, (C; her new Adult Film Star gimmick is Average) but Raven takes her out from behind and leaves with Beulah! (D+) Tag Title match! Cactus Jack and Mikey Whipwreck retain clean over the Headhunters. (C; Jack carried it) Too Cold Scorpio might not have become the #1 Contender, but he's still the baddest dude around, and...he's interrupted by MARK HENRY. Scorpio might be the baddest...but he's certainly not the STRONGEST. He shoves Scorpio into some boxes and leaves! (D; World's Strongest gimmick is Above Average) Our main event is the promised tag match between Dreamer/Sandman and the Network-sponsored team of Douglas and.....the debuting CHRIS JERICHO. The new kid kinda sucks and isn't going anywhere, but Douglas gets the win anyway. (D; Jericho struggled; his Egomaniac gimmick is Awful) Overall: D+ SUCCESS NEWS -The Headhunters have left ECW (loan expired) -Ricky Steamboat joins as a Road Agent -AJPW signs Dory Funk, Dynamite Kid -IWA-Hardcore get Sean Morley, Woman -CMLL feuds Hijo del Santo v. Dandy; Hijo immediately gets sidelined for two months -Taka Michinoku rising -WWC to push Mabel -NAASW get Damien Kane -Wrestle Dream Factory grows to Small -WCW Saturday Night gets B- (ME: Road Warriors d. Arn/Bubba) -AJPW gets C+ (ME: Momota/Inoue/Fuchi d. Akiyama/Ogawa/Albright) Sultan: 6/4 Maniac: 4/4 5tar: 4/4 Lopen: 4/4 CPU: 2/4 eaed: 1/4 Eaed slips to T2, with Sultan roaring into first on the back of the first correct new-person guess!
