| _SecretSquirrel 11/08/18 10:07:24 PM #146: | Yeah, this is a new Simon Belmont. Becuase of Smash, he actually has a definitive look. It's the same thing that happened to Kefka when Dissidia came out, and look how night and day that was for him. The best picture that existed of the blond Simon Belmont from everyone's childhood was an action figure, so it makes sense he would boost due to being flattering on the front page. Also, a Smash boost for third party characters like a Bayonetta or a Simon is going to increase their stock more than it would someone who already is viewed as Nintendo. So a guy like Belmont who has high fodder before, now has plenty of reasons to boost into at least a capable midcarder, so I was surprised to see that people thought he was still going to drop to an irrelevant Ryu Hayabusa who hasn't done anything in years. Sadly for me, I underestimated a couple of our completely new characters. I didn't even think Simon was in jeopardy of dropping this match until 2B came along and beat Ness, and I thought Geralt vs. Rosalina had 16>1 written all over it. --- Agent Triple Zero at your service!
