Brackets received, let's take a look at some eliminations and similarities.

If Aerith beats Waluigi, then princeton_boy eliminates demphra. The winner of that match going to R3 is the only difference in their brackets.

Confirming this, demphra should be eliminated.

Here's my program's output for similar brackets (I'm assuming the current winners all hold):

Terms I'm using:
-Total difference is the point value of all matches with differing winners between the two brackets.
-Deficit is how far the first player is from the similar bracket (negative numbers mean you are ahead).
-Possible gain is the point value of the differences where your pick hasn't already been eliminated - how much you can catch up
What I'm calling "elimination cushion" this year is the number of possible points that you can lose (or they can gain on you) before you no longer have a chance to pass the other player. ([possible gain] - [deficit]). If it goes negative, you're eliminated, since you have no hope to pass the other player.

As a refresher, the maximum score this year is 700.

No other brackets are on the chopping block for the last 4 matches of round 1.
