Misophonia is the name of what ails me I believe. I get blackout angry when someone is chomping on potato chips or smacking their goddam lips as they eat whatever. I'm getting mad just typing this and thinking about it. I sometimes just have an outburst outta nowhere and tell them to close their fucking mouth when they chew. It's like someone else is yelling at them and then I realize it's me. It's equally scary and frustrating.
Damn I thought this was me. In my office this guy always smacks his lips even after he has finished eating and I feel like I'm going to have an outburst every day time.
Yeah, look it up. It became an issue for me a few years back and my outbursts caught even me off guard. So I looked it up and started reading about it.
Ah it can be any sound that bothers you that can trigger outbursts. That explains while I also get that feeling with whistling. ---
