And having heard a lot of JRPG battle music, this is definitely middling. I like the part starting around 2:56. A lot of this is long sweeping brass and string melodies - epic, fitting for a big battle in a jrpg. Not my thing, but I can appreciate when it's really well done. It isn't really well done here, unfortunately, it's just well done. I haven't played Octopath Traveler - but I have played Bravely Default, a previous game in the Bravely 'series' that Square Enix produces. It was pretty good, but it's long, so I didn't finish it.
