The way I see it, if you can get tattoos and piercings then what's a little more body modification if it makes you feel better? Clothes are clothes, wear whatever you want. I've always believed people should be able to do anything they want as long as it doesn't interfere directly with others. Basically we shouldn't worry about what you want to be as long as you're not going to be a jerk about it. Don't demand special rights, don't assume everyone will understand, and if you don't 'pass' and someone uses the wrong pronoun just roll with it. Creating a scene is hurting your cause.
