What we are doing now where we falsely tell them that they can be something they aren't and Frankenstein them into a body that fits into their disorder is nothing short of abuse. Clearly you have no understanding of mental disorders. Telling someone with a mental disorder "don't act this way, act like this" isn't going to magically change them. All that can be done is have the mental disorder controlled. In the case of trans folk it's more easy and less harmful to let them live the disorder as a form of actually controlling it.
