I talked to my literature buff friend and he said that Dune is a good bit better in context of the series. Will throw the sequels on the "eh maybe" pile with Dance of Dragons. Stardom 16.2.28 Gauntlet- Viper v. Mimura: **1/2 Gauntlet Final- Viper v. Kyona: *** whoa cool an interview, and it's in English! Way of Kings: I'm grooving on this so far! Interesting characters and interesting setting. I particularly like the Sprin (especially the weird one) and the magic/stormlight/powerz/whatever and the incredibly impractical but cool currency system. Trails: Found the four other bracers (I wanna use 'em!) but no real leads on Julia, and I was unable to get into the Villa to see if Nial was there.
