The way I see it, the $1000 bet rule applies to every match regardless of your money total.

So if you bet $1000 on the first match, you have $0 left to spend, but you can still hit that max $1000 bet on each match. Same would be true if tomorrow you had negative $3000.

This isn't made obvious in the rules though so it could have some clarification.

If you had, say, $4000 tomorrow you can't bet $4000 on every match, but you could do $4000 on one and $1000 on the others if you wanted to
