I really feel bad for this guy getting made fun of. He could have easily said "Hi, this is a duplicate, can I have a different one?" and that's it. But this guy clearly has a social disability.

He does. I remember when the original upload first went viral, and this guy had a video on his channel of him giving a speech about living with autism for a college class.

Wouldnt these videos be better off private or at least less accessible to the general public? His caregivers (assuming he has them) should consider not having him post public videos OR disabling comments. Someone who is mentally ill is not going to be able to tolerate the harassment.

Crosses the line when real people are being affected.
