Sweet, thanks guys, the ford escapde (looked up 2010) is right in the 5-6k range which is perfect. Gonna do more research on it, then check out the subaru and scion.

I have literally no knowledge of cars at all (didn't even know I had a saturn and I bought it 2 years ago...well traded in my BMW for it)...never really cared as it was all local driving pretty much, and fairly new cars when I bought them. Had tripple A for 20+ years and never used it (gonna get it again before going on my trips:)

You rock!:)

BMW is a money pit and the Saturn is just overall poor quality. But the Saturn is overall better for a daily driver because cheaper to fix.

Ya look up 2005-2010 escapes, they are pretty decent, decent room and cheap to fix.

There is a Mazda that's the same thing, called a Tribute.
