Blaqthourne posted...When I worked at Toys R Us 20+ years ago, they shut down the register lanes at closing time (and there was an automated "The store is closing in 15 min" message that played over the in-store radio), so if you weren't in line at that point, you couldn't check out. All you have to do is tell whoever walks in near closing time that the register will be closing in 5 (or whatever) minutes. Target, as well. And they would go around telling people to please hurry.
