It almost doesn't matter what the margin is, just who has the majority. House Democrats have watched Republicans enough the last 8 years to learn how to fall in line. As for the potential for a blowout, that's possible because of Republican gerrymandering - the idea is that a national vote of D+5 gives you a Republican house, without much difference from R+1, but move it to D+7 or 8 and you swing a lot of lean Republican districts at once.

Not really how it works. If margins drive up in Democratic areas, it won't translate to house numbers.
