I work in a restaurant. I understand its annoying when people come in five minutes to close and REALLY annoying when they sit there for an hour or more
But its part of the job. Your hours are what your hours are. If you close at ten and they come in at 9:55, then you serve them the same as if they came in at 6.

No, no it's not. The old saying the customer is always right is bullshit. If a customer is wrong they must be told so otherwise they will walk all over you. Told my boss I refuse the saying and it sounds like he understands, but then again I've seen assholery like peeling prices off to try to get a discount, or going behind a building rather than ask where the bathroom is.
What you'd need to do is stop taking orders a reasonable time before closing kinda like how a minigolf that closes at 10 will stop allowing walk ins at 9:30 or so. People can play until 10 but not show up at 10 and waste an hour. Fact is you don't need a different job. You need to send those dick pretzels someplace else to be trouble.
