Zeus posted... Except it's not the most likely answer and there's a pretty serious problem when people perpetuate the idea that it is. Except it is. We don't have all the info on why she did what she did, but it literally sounds like the most likely reason was because the kids were of a different race. It's pretty bad when you try to pretend like racism doesn't exist. I'm not usually the one to call racism, but I do see it sometimes. And it looks like that's the case.
