Yeah, I think I'm going to take Zeus' hint. HIMYM is not something I'd enjoy watching until the end, having just fully watched the first season. Ted sucks so much, it's not even funny, Robin is bland as a character, and Lily and Marshall are not an interesting couple. Overall, the characters aren't very interesting even though they seem normal. But that's why the only character whom I like is Barney. And I fear that the show's jokes are not as well-written as those of other sitcoms, and the plotlines aren't good enough to keep me entertained. The dialogue is cheesy, and the characters use slang and words that may have been in vogue with young people in 2005, but are just embarrassing now. And it just makes me go "ick" in disgust at the mere fact that they were used. I don't like current slang either, so it's not like I'd enjoy a show where people use internet slang or whatever. I mean I know that Barney uses these types of words, but he pulls it off better than the other two male characters.

This is one of the polls where the "Shut up, Eclair" option won almost as many votes as the one of the regular options, so I suppose that I should just take the bloody hint now.
