| legendarylemur 10/05/18 2:07:20 AM #52: | I couldn't quite understand the hatred for the Umineko anime because I didn't read the VN. But even besides the VN, it was pretty confusing to me. Very frequently the mystery felt very underdeveloped and inadequately explained. Too many statements being flown off here and there and resolving either instantly or coming up much later. I imagine in the VN they keep track of the red and blue statements. I'd probably enjoy the hell out of it tbh. I'm still stuck on Higurashi, the anime of which I very much enjoyed. Even that one gets some bad rap from being a bad translation in relation to the VN, but I think that's more a case of people not understanding that VNs are like 20+ times the story that an anime is able to tell --- "Iwata was awesome" - Mr. Nintendo https://imgur.com/JGJqvwW ...
