Can't eat at most of these places because they're not halal . But on the plus side it's nice having fewer unhealthy temptations when eating out.

Can't toy just ask a priest (or whatever the Muslim equivalent is) to bless it for you?

Unless halal is different from kosher, in which case sorry for asking

@Muscles
No worries, ask away. Basically the animal has to be slaughtered a certain way and blessed to be considered halal (permissible).

This is a short little explanation that explains it well: http://www.isaiowa.org/content/Halal-Information/Halal-Education/-Halal-or-Zabihah.aspx

Anything with pork or pork-based products is a hard no. Things like gelatin (derived from beef or whatever), also make it impossible to eat (which is why you'll never see a Muslim eating something like Skittles). Most fish is permissible, some seafood (e.g. lobsters) are a grey area.

There are some places in the US, Canada, and the UK that I know of that offer Halal fast food. Most Muslim countries only have halal food.
