It's obnoxious when he's specifically putting down faces/the crowd/etc., but I don't see how it's any different from the level of "obnoxious" of a Cena, Rock, and so on when they'd put down heels in an over the top manner. It seems more of a case of how heelish/obnoxious/etc. it comes off depends entirely on the situation/who he's doing it against.
