IMO, Serena is the racist for having such a complete meltdown while losing to a Japanese player. Don't really understand why she's making this about sexism when the ref didn't penalize the other player because she was quiet and respectful.

She's a professional; she should know better than to throw a temper tantrum about losing to a better player and taking it out on the ref who is only doing his job. Do you think what she did was the right thing?
The fact that she was accusing the ref of being sexist... while her opponent was also female and thus was at the same advantage/disadvantage as her... meant that she had absolutely nothing substantial to complain about and the call the ref made was fair. She had no right to start calling him names and throwing her racket around like a child. This is something I'd expect out of watching a high school girl's tennis game, maybe, but even they are probably too mature to do something like that. It was super embarrassing and cringe-worthy to watch, not to mention disrespectful to her opponent. But none of that matters because I have low karma, eh? Fantastic argument, solid logic.
