It really snuck up on me this year because it's usually in October or November. Im really glad that it's actually happening in my town again. This is the fifth time it's come to my state; the first three times it was here in my town, but last year it was in Oklahoma City. I thought something was strange the third year because it seemed a little smaller and more low-profile then before, and sure enough it was gone the next year. But I discussed it with the other volunteers, and we knew we had a responsibility to put our best foot forward restore some faith in our city. Even in OKC, I saw several of the same volunteer faces from home, hard at work.
