The Final Act is no exception, and the only reason ED 1 (With You) isn't sitting right up here with Diamond and Down the Distant Road is because the opening vocal intro is so incredibly cringey ee-ee EE-ee. They're both awesome for different reasons. Just check out the production value for Diamond. I mean the video is incredible look at the effects of the snowflakes and tell me they're not amazing. No seriously, tell me so I can verify you're a liar. That high definition. You can tell after that break Inuyasha went all out and Rumiko was not going to send her magnum opus off with a whimper. The song is nice and peaceful too and every character gets their due focus. As for the final ED, it's just the culmination of several years of effort and build up and it's beautiful. I tried to pick my second favorite ED from the original Inu Yasha, but I just couldn't. 1-4 are all so solid and each one has something it does better than the other 3. My Will has the nostalgia and unique ferris wheel display, Dearest has the emotional pull, Every Heart has such soothing vocals, and Fukai Mori has ITS ENTIRE FOCUS ON SESSHOMARU!
